Samsung Washing Machine

If you’re in the market for a washer, you have probably been interested in some of the Samsung models that have been wowing consumers in recent years. Of course, you also know there are plenty of alternatives on the market, too. Before you decide on a brand, you may want to learn a little bit more about Samsung and their washers.

Samsung Washers

Offering a wide range to pick from. With the front loaders, you can choose from a total of 8 different models with capacities ranging from 5 to 6.5 kilograms (11 to 14 pounds).
Automatic models come in both front and top loading varieties. Semi automatic washers are also available.

Samsung Front Load washers

Most of the models have five different temperature settings to make sure you are doing your washing on the correct level.

The washers have between 8 and 14 different washing programs, including some that are special for white clothing or towels. Most of them also have a setting for a quick wash for when you need to quickly do a load of laundry before heading to work or to bed. Some of the models even have LCD displays to make watching the progress of your laundry easier than ever before.

Samsung Top Load Washers

You’ll find a bit more variety with the top loaders. A full dozen models are currently available and many include special features that are great additions. If you have larger laundry loads, these are ideal choices because they can handle more at one time. The load capacities for these models range from 6 to 9 kilograms (about 13 to 20 pounds).

These washers all have multiple water level options – 4 to 5 levels for most – which can help you keep your water bill lower. Instead of filling the washer all the way up, you can only use enough to do the load you need. Some of the washers available will even have special washing levels for blankets, soaking, and more. That way you can always be confident that the finished wash will be as clean as you want.

Now if you prefer a semi automatic washer you’ll find a full eleven models available. These range in capacity from around 6 to 7 kilograms (13 to 15 pounds).

These models are quite powerful and can complete a wash in around a half an hour. Some of the models have the super dry technology which actually draws more water out of the clean clothes so you won’t have to spend as much time and energy drying them.

Other Washer Features

One of the nice things about the automatic washers is that many of them include Silver Nano technology. For centuries, people have recognized the anti-bacterial properties associated with silver. Many of Samsung’s washers have now incorporated this technology so that you can get thoroughly clean clothing.

This is a great idea if you have children and want to protect them from nasty bacteria that might not be killed in a regular laundry cycle. Plus, the use of the silver means you don’t have to use hot water which means you can save money on your energy bills.

Another good feature on the top loading models is known as the Mist Shower. When you begin the washing cycle, a spray of water comes down and starts mixing with the detergent early on.

This means you’ll have a more well-mixed detergent and one that is much easier to rinse off afterward. Both of these aspects of the feature are going to help you reduce your water demands and your water bills.
