Rather have my 13-yr-old Kenmore back
by: Anne Frey

I bought a new Kenmore 600 washer which I believe is Whirlpool WTW5300VW with 4 temperature choices. That is very misleading as I find only hot and cold. The hot is hot and runs into the washer at a decent pace. The warm runs hot water for under 30 seconds, then runs cold water very slowly which takes a long time to fill the tub. I called Sears Service Dept to come and reset it correctly, but they told me the Dept of Energy regulations require using less hot water. So for the rest of my life when I want to wash clothes in warm water (a reasonable request) I'll have to fill half the tub with hot and then change to warm, cool, or tap cold, which are all the same to me! And all 3 run in too slowly, wasting my time. Of course cold is the only rinse choice which I'll have to accept.

Water temperature control
by: Anonymous

I do not like the washer's water temperature control, the warm is not warm at all. It is like washing everything in cold water. I am sorry I bought it two months ago.

Bad day.
by: Anonymous

this thing is not yet five and it pours water on the floor faster than it can fill up!The matching drier is a hunk of junk too.It no longer heats up due to bad heating elements.
