No doubt you want a dryer that will keep your clothes looking great, save on energy, and provide you with a variety of different drying options.

One name that can provide you with all that and more is the name Whirlpool. Whirlpool is one of the most well known brands of both washers and dryers, and they offer quality machines for prices that are affordable as well.

Of course before you decide to buy a Whirlpool dryer, you’ll want to learn a bit more about these dryers and all they have to offer you.

Common Features of Whirlpool Dryers

There are many excellent features that can be found on Whirlpool dryers. One excellent feature that many of these dryers have is a special enhanced sound package that helps to make sure the dryer is nice and quiet when it is drying your clothes.Many of their dryers also have an interior drum light in them, which helps you to see clearly as you are putting clothing in the dryer or taking clothes out of the dryer.

Also, most Whirlpool dryers come with special wrinkle protection that helps to make sure your clothes come out of the dryer looking great instead of a wrinkle mess.

A few of their dryers even come with a special sensor drying system, which helps to sense when the clothes are getting dryer, so less heat can be sued and energy can be saved.

The Dryers

They all have different options on them, so let’s take a closer look at some of the models they offer and the features that they have.

Cabrio

Classic

This dryer offers super capacity and actually can sense when the laundry is dry, and then it turns off to save on energy. It also comes with Wrinkle Shield Plus that will help to keep the wrinkles away for up to 120 minutes.

This dryer can be purchase in either white or black and will cost you a bit more than $500. There are also nine automatic cycles and seven different temperature selections to choose from as well.

The door is wide as well, to make it as easy as possible to get the laundry in the dryer.

Duet

Their design makes it easy to dry larger loads in the dryer as well. There are many different cycles that come in these machines, so you can dry many different fabrics with a mind that is at ease.

With at least ten cycles and five different temperatures, you can be sure that you’ll have the right combination for your clothing.

The Quiet Dry Plus Noise Reduction technology is used on these machines as well, so you will still be able to enjoy the quiet while the dryer is running.

Duet Sport

You can dry an entire load of clothes in this dry in just a bit more than a half an hour. Also, it helps to keep all your clothes looking great, including sweaters, heavy denims, and even your hand washables.

They feature three timed cycles and six automatic cycles as well as five different temperature selections.

The swing door on the dryer is reversible as well, so you can choose which way you prefer for it to swing.

The controls are electronic and a child lockout feature comes with the dryers in this series as well.

Pros and Cons of Whirlpool Dryers

Some of the pros to these machines include wrinkle prevention, plenty of room for large loads, and gentle drying that does not over dry or over heat clothing.

However, on the opposite side, there are several cons to be aware of as well. One con is that some of the dryers by Whirlpool have top lint traps which get your dryer all dirty when you pull them out.

Some people are less than thrilled about the special installation that can be required to fit some of these dryers in a closet as well.

Most people love the style that these dryers have; however, not everyone is thrilled with the durability or the ease of use. So, as you can see, both pros and cons exist.

In the end, you’ll find that Whirlpool definitely does have some excellent dryers available. However, not every one of them will be what you need.
