this washing machine worked for a little while...now it will not rinse and shows a code....I have run it without any clothes in it...what good is that? Whirlpool should recall this machine....

If you take the time to set it up the way it's suppose to be set up, then it works great. Front loaders usually have a short life, but can be extended if you put the the right amount of clothes in the machine and never overload it. So far so good being I have only had it for a couple of months.The machine is extremely quiet and vibration free. It is imperative to level the machine in order to keep the vibration down and bearings from wearing out. My LG WM3431HS wore out it's bearings in 5.5 years. I'm hoping this machine's bearings will last longer. Only time will tell if I come back with negative reviews! So far, I would recommend this product!

Dear Karen Kestor,
My sympathies. My hubby finally figured out this temperamental piece of crud. You have to have all the same kinds of fabric. Ours is a small compact and we have to do 4 big towels together, or jeans and towels work. We can only do 4 sheets and 4 pillowcases, etc.
The manual has sections called "Laundry Tips" and "Loading Suggestions." But I guess when we bought it I didn't study that part thoroughly because I just assumed it was a REAL washing machine. My mistake.

We are in the same boat as every one else as our machine was paid for in full when we bought it and it does not work most of the time. We are now on our third break down as of today. I don't even give this product one star. We may end up seeing if we can get our money back.

Gee, ours worked for a whole 2 1/2 years. Now it's worthless! Got it brand new from Best Buy. Does not spin out after rinse cycle. Have tried every type of load and every type of setting using the correct soap. Have had repair person out here 5 times. Sometimes it works for a day or two afterwards, then same old problem. Sometimes we can do one load a day, but only if it feels up to it that day.
If you value your sanity, don't buy this machine. We're thinking of taking Whirlpool to court to get our money back.

I got this from a rent to own place it was brand new it stopped working right after about a week its now paid for and it has stopped working completely its only a year old. I am not very impressed with this machine at all.
