A saver
by: Elizabeth

I love craigslist I make a little bit of money every month off the site. I also realize that this helps with all the trash that goes to the landfill as well. Great post and thanks for sharing.

Craigslist is a wonderful way to recycle!

Many items that otherwise end up in landfill can be repurposed via Craigslist, and who knows, you might just put a huge smile on someones face!

Love it
by: Anonymous

No doubt Craigslist gives many options of getting rid of unwanted items either free or pretty cheap and this does help the enviroment waste issues of dumping. I look at the website several times a week and usually find interesting things to possibly buy.

I Agree! I Always Use Craigslist!
by: Lisa

I never thought about craigslist being ecofriendly, but you are right! I use them all the time to sell items and to donate items. In fact, I've actually given away gallons of house paint that are still 1/2 to 3/4 filled after using them! This is a great way to rid your garage of clutter and to keep paint out of landfills!

Craigslist is Great
by: Anonymous

I know this is a super tip and it is definitely eco-friendly. I have gone to Craig's list to advertise yard sales and have gotten a great response. In these tough times it really is nice to be able to do something to keep things out of landfills, but a bonus is being able to make a little cash to help buy gas!

craigslist your items
by: Lori

I have been using Craigslist for about a year now. I have used it both as a donator as well as a person taking things off of other peoples hands. I have found some incredible deals here some I pay for and others like you say are listed in the free section. I love this site and I love this recycling tip. I did not really think of it as being eco-friendly but it is.
