All

Six years ago I switched from cheap generic detergent to All laundry detergent. I found the scent pleasant, and not overbearing like with the other brands. Also, the clothes came out feeling softer and smelling cleaner. The All laundry detergent has stain lifter included, so I found I no longer needed to use as much in the way of pre-treatment, stain removal products.

I use the liquid All. I prefer the liquid detergents to the powder detergents because the liquid detergents dissolve completely, and do not leave residue in the cracks and crevices of my laundry where the water may have failed to adequately penetrate.

My boyfriend preferred Tide because Tide is what his mom always used, but in this household, I decide the laundry detergent. All works just as good as Tide, but is less expensive. Price is a very important consideration for us since we live on a limited budget. But low price should not mean lower quality. When I consider how much I save on pre-treatment products, the All turns out to be as cheap as the cheap generics. But, like I mentioned, in my opinion the All performs its job better than the cheap generic brands I was using.

mu mother used to use it

My mother used All for many, many years, and so I got in the habit of using it myself when I moved out on my own. Being a poor college, student, however, I decided to try some of the bargain brands. UGH! They didn't clean my clothes as well, sometimes left detergent stains on my clothes, caused me to have allergic reactions, etc. Now that I am older and have a family of my own, ALL is the only detergent you will see on my laundry products shelf!
