SteamFast SF-407

Clothes steamer is a device used to remove wrinkles from garments and fabrics. I am someone who doesn't like ironing clothes. When I got this SteamFast SF-407 I was not that excited as I didn't have any idea of how it would work. But after its first use I realised that how efficient it is.

The SF-407 steamer has a base that holds a removable water container and a 1500 watt heating element that removes away wrinkles and odors.
In my experience, the steam head handle is well enough insulated and it remains comfortable during use.

The SteamFast comes with a pad that allows one to safely steam clothes edges without risking hands being burned by hot steam and also a fabric brush that helps in removing unwanted threads. This steamer heats up in 45 seconds and 1-1/4-quart water tank produces up to 45 minutes of steam thanks to its large capacity.

I've used this steamer for silks, heavy cotton to my shower curtain,it works effectively. It is very light in weight and so easily movable.

This machine is provided with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. This steamer is 12-3/5 by 8 by 12 inches which harder takes any space while not in use. This steamer also includes an effective drain plug at the bottom of the unit and a 6-foot grounded power cord. The telescopic garment-hanging pole that collapses for compact storage. Just as everything has some pros and cons this steamer has one drawback that it could be more stable when hanging clothes from the hanger, the unit tends to wobble. I broke mine by tilting it and had to add a metal bar.So be careful while moving it.

This steamer is a great value for money product.I use this everyday to steam my clothes for the day and it is perfect for my needs.

I know the value of wrinkle free living!
by: Anne

I have been thinking of getting a garment steamer for a few years now. There always seems to be a wrinkled drape or fragile garment that needs some TLC! I work as a wedding coordinator, and have seen my share of wrinkled bridesmaids... and even brides.

So I know the value of wrinkle free living! I have only had this steamer a short time, but I am very impressed. It does the job on drapes, and you don’t even have to take them down to get them smooth. I have tried numerous strategies for this problem in the past and never really found a remedy for a creased drape. Often even the hottest iron doesn’t take out the creases from packaging, but this worked right away. I love that! I would still see a need for a “regular” iron though. I need to do collars and cuffs on my husband’s dress shirts with an iron to get them crisp.

Also, I do a bit of sewing and I think I would need the iron to press items as I construct them. However I would love to hang up the garment when it was finished and just steam out the wrinkles. This steamer is easy to get ready and works up the steam in under a minute. It is fairly light weight, but kind of a pain to store the tubes etc. For me, it is worth it and I just leave it in my closet near and outlet so it is almost always ready to go. I haven’t taken it with me to a wedding event as of yet, but it would be nice to have for emergencies.

I may invest in a “travel” steamer for that aspect of my business. As with most appliances, you have to learn how to use it, but that is a small price to pay. For me, this is the answer to a need I’ve had in my life - in my closet actually.
