Grass Stains

by Amy
(Rutland, VT)

After a full soccer match, grass stains are surely a laundry issue! To remove them from clothing, start by using a pre-treater(ex. Stain Stick) and let it set for an hour. Wash in warm water using detergent and an additive for stain removal(ex. Oxiclean). Do not put articles in the dryer; allow to air dry. For deep stains, repeat twice for complete removal

Great Advice
by: Anonymous

This is a wonderful tip. I find that whenever my kids are playing outside, a good majority of the time they come back inside with grass stains. Now, I used your advice, and I noticed that the grass stains from their clothes are completely gone!

This is exactly what I do to get rid of tough stains like grass. I keep several of the stain sticks around my house ie kitchen drawer, bedroom as well as in the laundry room so I can hit those stain as soon as possible. It is amazing how well the stains come out.
