Conair GS15RN Handheld Fabric Steamer

For the price the Conair Hand-held Fabric Steamer works relatively well. The steamer is very easy to use. You just have to fill the small water container and put it in place on the steamer. Then you plug it in and it starts to heat up.

There is an orange light sensor that turns off after the steamer is hot enough. Then you pull the trigger and steam is propelled out. The steamer has a curved handle and in total is about 15 inches long. I can easily store it in a drawer. It does best with cotton and polyester fabrics and doesn't do as well with satiny fabrics.

At the top it has bristles and a lint brush that actually work very well to get lint off of your clothes while you steam them. The brush also helps to smooth out the fabric as the steam hits it. The steam is not constant though because you have to stop to let it heat back up after only using it for about 7 seconds. The time that the steams lasts is pretty constant for the time that you use it.

This makes it a bit more time consuming. It is very compact and easy to store. If you run out of water, it is very easy to refill compared to bigger commercial steamers and it does not leak. The steamer cools down quickly also, making it safe. If you need a cheaper steamer or travel I would recommend this steamer as a good option.

Pros
- Inexpensive
- Compact and Portable

Cons
- Reheat time for water
- Steam isn't constant
