Windfresh Super Concentrated Powder (200 loads)

"Windfresh"
You can purchase this laundry bucket at Sam's Club, and while it is value priced compared to Tide, All or Surf; there is a quality issue here.
It is an extremely low-sudsing powder. Yes, the basic line is that it does provide for clean clothing and articles, but you are tempted to use a LOT more than just the one recommended scoop (provided in container).
So the question is, are you really getting 200 loads out of each bucket? The answer that I have discovered on my own is... NO!
This detergent is not quite up to my standards, but it does whiten the white clothes as needed. I have used a half scoop more than is recommended, and have also used some form of liquid laundry soap in addition.
It does not smell "wind fresh" as the name would imply either. As a matter of fact, it doesn't provide a "clean" scent. While the scent is hard to describe, I would akin the scent to "slightly mildewy." That's not really an appealing smell to have on your clean clothes is it?
Sam's club can (and sometimes does) deliver some very good quality merchandise for consumer's that are trying to stretch dollars. In the case of this generic laundry detergent, it is my opinion, that it is better to spend a little more money to get a better value.
