Roper 3.2 Cu. ft. washing machine

Roper 3.2 Cu. ft. washing machine I purchased the Roper 3.2 cu. ft. washing machine in a dire emergency. I was told by the girl at the store that although it was "affordable" that it had a good reliability record, so I went ahead and purchased it.

I've heard horror stories before about people buying very expensive washing machines and having problems in just a few months and pretty much assumed I was headed the same direction. However this was not the case.

Not only did the washer come with several different speeds and wash cycles, it holds a lot more than I thought it would! I can actually wash a Queen size comforter in it with no problems. At first it gave off a funny smell, but I later realized that was the new parts wearing in and it eventually stopped.

I also like the fact that it is very quiet. Sometimes you don't even know it's washing if you're not close to it! The only thing that worries me is every once in a while, I'll wash clothes and it will somehow become unbalanced and cause a lot of racket, but a quick check inside the washer can help me balance it back out, and the noise is gone. Another downside is the fact that it isn't really "energy efficient" but I only wash full loads, so it's not that expensive for me.

Overall, I would have to say the washer gets a 4 out of 5, because every once in a while, it's not perfect, but it's much better than I expected.

Electric bill NEW
by: Anonymous

My mom got this brand from the flea market for both of us. My electric bill was over $200 until I turned the knob from warm cold to cold cold. My electric bill dropped to $75 afterwards but my mom refuses to turn hers down and has a $400 bill. THIS ISN'T RIGHT!!! All washers should have built in water heaters so people can get food and pay off debts!!

Roper dryer NEW
by: best british essay writers

Strange, cause my friend used it not for a long period of time and it crashed. She repaired it but later it had a crash again. Don't no why it is such a big difference.

Roper...good value for money...throw it away when it breaks
by: herbert92x

I bought a Roper dryer when my fancy Maytag dryer died. Price quote to repair the Maytag was $200. New Roper was $175. For that price, I get new, and a warranty. When it dies, I'll buy another. Dryer dries clothes nicely.

Shortly after dryer died, fancy washer died too. Bought new roper 3.2 on sale for $150 when quote to fix fancy washer was $200. Washer washes clothes nicely and matches dryer. When it dies, I'll replace with new - just like dryer.
