How does this washer stand out? »
This is your bare bones Maytag washer with the eligible features stripped out. It comes in much cheaper (over 100 dollars cheaper), and slightly smaller (just 0.2 cut feet). If you’re looking for a featureless washer this probably should be on your research list.
Advantages
Only the required amount of bleach and detergent are automatically dispensed at the right time.
It is fitted with leveling legs to absorb impact and minimize vibration.
The door opens wide, making it easier to load and unload the laundry.
Disadvantages
Unlike other newer models, this unit has less number of cycles and has limited features.
Although steam is important in machine-washing, this unit does not use steam in any of its 8 cycles.
This washer is not equipped with a built-in heater.
The drum spins at a maximum of 700 rpm, whilst other models’ speed reaches up to 1400 rpm.
A fabric softener dispenser can be very useful. However, this model does not have one.
This unit does not have the germ-killing Sanitize temperature option.
Soak setting is valuable in pre-treatment of heavily-soiled clothes, but this unit does not have a soak setting.
This washing machine is not Energy Star and CEE- compliant.
Given that it is top-loading, this washer makes it more difficult to load and unload clothes.

Pros Easy to install
Cons
“Rips my clothes”
“A horrible experience with this useless washer”
“I though maytag was synonym for quality – not anymore !!!!”
“Freezes sometimes when I try and pause the cycle to add more clothes”
This is the worst thing I have ever purchased. Whoever designed this should be fired. It takes a small load over an hour to finish. Glad I'm not washing for a large family. My good cloths have lint on them. The cloths wash longer on the sensing cycle than the wash cycle and then the machine keeps adding water because it's computer brain can't decide. I opened it on a wash cycle and all the cloths were not even wet. I'm sick I made the purchase.

It's a lemon by: Anonymous
This washer has never worked right. We have had it for 4 months and have had 2 service calls already. It does not perform correctly when set. The spin cycle and rinse repeat over and over until the machine is manually stopped. It takes over an hour for a cycle to run.
