How does this washer compare? »
This Washer uses slightly less energy than its more premium counterparts (the 850 and 950). If you need an allergen cycle then you must upgrade to the 850 for $100 more or the 950 for $300 more. When compared to the slightly more expensive 850 model , a few core features have been stripped, having 3 less wash cycles, 1 less temperature and soil level but the capacity is still identical and large (4.6 cu ft). This Washer also has 7 our of the 9 identified premium features, so this washer is good bang for your buck. What it really comes down to is do you need the Allergen cycle or not ? If not then no need to pay $100 more for the 850.
