LG WM2355CS

I purchased this washer from Futureshop a little while ago, and I adore it. It is of considerable small size, not bulky at all! It easily fit where my old washer was previously, with lots of room to spare.

This is my first experience with a front loading washer, as my previous washers were top load, and I have to say I will never go back. I adore the energy saving systems, like the automatic water level adjuster.

This system changes the water level based on the weight of the clothes you put into it! This definitely saves your utility bill ten-fold!

This washer even tells you exactly how much soap to use, based on the weight content of your laundry! Never again will you overuse the detergent!

The system also adjusts the amount of time needed to wash your laundry, no more extra electricity used to wash. This saves you money with your water, detergent, and energy bill! I love it.
Did I mention how quiet this machine was?!

It’s not exactly WHISPER quiet, but in comparison to most other washers, this one is definitely among the quietest I have heard.

The interface is simple and easy to use as well, not convoluted or complex like other machines of this generation! Definitely a keeper! Thanks LG!

Very disappointed
by: Pissed offa

I have owned this washer and dryer for three years now. No complaints with the dryer but the washer on the other hand is a pile of junk. No matter the load size it NEVER fully cleans the clothes. I always have it on the bulky setting with the extra water and the clothes still come out dirty and/or smelly. Not to mention my whites are a nice shade of grey! For the amount we paid for he duo I would expect a lot more in return. When I am ale to I will be buying a top loading washer again. stay away from this model!!!!!

Awesome Machine
by: Anonymous

I have owned this machine for 5yrs and have not had one single thing go wrong with it. As for the moldy smell...we had the same problem but started using the washer cleaner once a month and there is no smell. If you don't do this religiously then you will get the moldy smell. Most front loaders are the same.
As for the cleaning of he clothes. Don't have a single complaint. Not sure what you other people are doing but we are very happy with the way our clothes come out.
Overall very happy with this machine.

Don't waste money on this piece of junk!!!

I purchased this machine about 3 years ago and was never happy with it. At first I thought it was because I switched from top load to front load. Called LG and they sent so one over that had no clue about anything. He suggested that I hand wash everything and then put the clothing in the machine, why even buy a washing machine????? Get way of saving water and energy. Thanks buddy, great help, NOT!
Three years of bleaching whites and never getting them to be ever white again. The smell is a whole other story. Despite the cleaning the gasget, hand drying the inside of machine and the door, leaving it open for more than 24 hours it still has the moldy smell.
Maybe LG should get on the discussion and provide answers, their repition is no the line, is it not??

piece of junk

Less than 3 years into this machine and I have already had to replace the pump (and of course LG won't cover this). This is my first front load and it will be my last. Unfortunately, I gave up an old (15+ years) Maytag that still cleaned relatively well to buy this piece of junk. I have 3 young children and whilst I couldn't do the volume with the Maytage, atleast my clothes were clean. With the LG, you have to pre-wash and double rinse all your loads to have clothing that is anywhere near presentable. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend LG. At the time of purchase this machine had the top of the line reviews. If you are looking for a good quality machine stay with a top-loader. These new front loaders are a fad that is dieing a slow death.

I have issues with mold and this machine since it was just over a year old. I have tried everything and nothing helps. I use HE detergent, leave the door open, run the tub clean cycle with bleach, use very little soap, wipe down the gasket - Still stinks like mold!!! LG has NEVER been helpful, they tell me to try the same things over and over - things I already do! After doing much research on this problem I have come to realize that this is a very common problem and there is actually a pending class action law suit against LG. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

rated as pile of junk
by: Anonymous

I have had this washer & dryer for approx 2 years, no complaints about the dryer, but the washing machine twists all the legs together on the bluejeans and anywhere they are twisted do not come clean. I don't load machine as heavey as they recomend. we farm and my husbands jeans don't even come half clean, i have thrown away more pants lately because of excessive staining.

I have to put it on hot add bleach and a extended wash cycle , wich is for 11/2 hrs long, where is the energy saving in this . I rate the washer as a pile of junk. Wishing i had my old agitator machine (kenmore) back. Oh yeah i also have to iron way more because of very twisted wrinkle clothes. I wish I could get my money back.
