Kenmore Top Load Washing Machine
I bought a Kenmore Top Load Washing Machine from Sears. Sears has a discounted warehouse that allows the purchase of "dinged" or "slightly damaged" appliances. If cosmetic damage is not a concern to you, this is a way to save money on a new washing machine. As a single Mom, it was important to me to obtain the quality of Kenmore and get a new appliance without the new appliance cost.
I have used and abused my washing machine over the years. It is currently 16 years old and still going strong. From dirty diapers to area rugs, this machine has given continuous cleanliness. It has required little or no maintenance and is easy to clean. I have replaced one hose, which was leaking. That is a wonderful attestation to durability!
My model is a basic washer with only three settings: hot with warm rinse, warm with cold rinse, and cold with cold rinse. I usually only wash in cold water. By following regular laundry sensibility, I have had clean clothes for over a decade. Remember to add your detergent first, prior to adding the laundry. Also, please use more water than you think you need, so that clothing does not bind around the agitator. Prespot and pretreat stains for better removal.
