Kenmore 700 Clothes Dryer

The Kenmore 700 is a great choice if you are looking for a reasonably priced clothes dryer!
I have owned this dryer for almost a year now. It gets used for several loads of laundry daily and it hasn’t been in need of any repair yet.
There are several desirable features included in this model such as the optional alert chime.
You can choose the level of volume you want the dryer to buzz at when it tells you your laundry is dry, or you can turn it off completely. I like this feature because there are times I do not want to hear the buzzer – such as when the kids are napping and then there are times I don’t want to forget to take the clothes out to hang.
The touch up option is very beneficial and I tend to use it often as I’m not much into spending my time ironing clothes. I simple throw a shirt or two into the dry, select touch up, and in about 10 minutes I have clothing that looks great and it ready to use!
One thing I dislike about this dry is involving the lint trap. I like the fact that it is internal so unlike with other dryers, the top of the dryer doesn’t get covered in lint when you pull out the trap but there is a felt strip located along the outer edge of the trap that started to fall off after about 3 uses.
This felt strip now has to be tucked back in the edge every single use and sometimes it even gets caught inside the dryer and can be difficult to fish out!
