Hotpoint VLSR1090GW 27 Inch Top Load Washer
This top-loading washer machine, generally speaking, does a pretty good job of getting my clothes clean. There are, however, a few drawbacks as well. It can handle a very large load. This washer machine can get stuffed to the very brim without having any problems.
The agitator just pushes right through a load of wash that would seemingly be able to break the average washer machine. So if your prone to falling behind on your laundry for a few extra days, this machine will save you a cycle or two.
It runs quietly. No matter how high or low it is filled, and no matter what setting it is put on, it is practically impossible to hear. My washing machine sits in a little closet right next to my kitchen, which is adjacent to my living room. When watching tv or just hanging out, I barely even notice that my washing machine is on.
On the negative side, it does not have enough settings. You can set it to whites, or casuals. Not a lot of choices for your various wash and rinse cycles. There are three levels of clothes amount, from small to heavy, and also 4 settings for water, ranging from cold-cold to hot-warm. Still, it leaves something to be desired in this area.
Also, it uses alot of water. I tend to just wash everything on cold-cold, but if you wash frequently with hot water settings, expect to see higher heating and water bills. This thing uses more water then any other washer machine I've owned.
