Frigidaire Heavy Duty Gallery Series

The Frigidaire Heavy Duty Gallery Series is the only washing machine I will ever own again.


I bought mine 2 or 3 years ago. It is a black front-loader, that is equipped with fourteen different load settings, four temperature settings and even five different spin speeds. It is a super capacity dryer with tumble action. I enjoy this washer very much because I can wash has many as twenty pairs of jeans at a time.

It is an Energy Star endorsed washing machine which means it saves on electricity and water. It is also a space saver because it has a built in drawer on the bottom of it.

This is nice to use for a laundry hamper because you just put dirty laundry from bottom drawer into washing machine close door, set settings and you are on your way. It runs very quietly. It is even equipped with a hand-wash cycle which is very good for delicate materials. The soap dispenser is built into the face of the washer, you simply pull the handle out and you are capable of inserting your soap, bleach and softener all at the same time and the washer will dispense it at the appropriate time. Definitely five stars.

Its only 8 years old, has worked like a charm and now the bearing is gone in it or the shocks, either way 400 to fix so will buy a new one for sure, dissappointed it did not last longer though.....

We bought our Frigidaire Gallery Series front load washer and dryer from Rosas home stores in western New York. Both units are electrically powered, black in color and are energy star products. Both units also show the approximate time remaining and have lights designating the current cycle.

The washer has fourteen wash settings for varying degrees of articles being washed. The washer also has two options for normal or heavy soil and five spin options. There are four options for temperature control. There are multiple options such as adding an extra rinse, extra spin, cycle signal, press saver and delay start.

There is a flap that opens so you can pre-load all of the necessary detergents. The door locks when the start button is pressed and unlocks when the cycle is complete. There is also a sensor that recognizes the amount of clothes or linens and the washer will only use the amount of water necessary to clean.

The dryer has dryer has twelve settings for varying degrees of articles being dryed. There are five options for controlling the temperature and four level or dryness options. There are three special options of shrink guard, press saver and cycle signal. Since the washer is high efficiency, the dryer cycles take less time and use less energy than some models.

We are very happy with our purchase of our washer and dryer. We recommend the Frigidaire Gallery Series to anyone and believe the purchase is worth the price. We did notice a drop in electricity and water usage.
