Bosch Nexxt 800 Series Front Load Washer

I purchased the Bosch Nexxt 800 Series Front load washing machine. I recently purchased this washing machine as my own welcome baby gift and automatically fell in love with it.


It has so many amazing features and now I love to wash clothes all day long! I let my daughter wear 3 different outfits each day just so I can wash clothes!

What's best so far is that I have cut down our electric bill $20 a month! The washing machine is an energy star model and is also very water efficient. It is so quiet as well. There are different settings for all of my different types of laundry.

My favorite cycle is the handwash cycle. I can put my clothes and bras that say handwash only inside of the washing machine! Do you know how much time that saves me??? TONS! I have a newborn and so I need all of the extra time I can find.

I would recomend this washing machine to everyone I meet! We bought it from our local Lowe's and had it delivered. It was an awesome deal, plus we recieved a military discount which made it even cheaper.

I like that this washing machine is a front loader washing machine. I use high efficient organic chemicals in it when I was my clothes. It makes me feel good to know that this machine is helping me to do so much to save the environment.

Out of all of the washing machines we looked at, this had the most features and the best price value for having those features.

This machine has a bleach dispenser which our old one didn't have. I think that is neat because I always worried that pouring the bleach directly on my clothes might ruin them.

Approximately five years ago, I fell for the idea that paying more money for a product meant getting a better quality product. I really wanted to love this washer, but it has been one problem after another. The current problems are: water accumulates in the tub while not being used, water in bleach/softener dispensers after every wash, an error code of E2 which stops the washer once, twice or three times during a washing cycle, and really long wash cycles because of that error. (I've cleaned the filters on the hoses coming into the machine with no luck, and when I had it serviced the technician told me that Bosch guards the error codes closely and will remove them from the internet.) But I was able to discover that E2 means water is coming into the machine too slowly. I'm still dealing with the error code. Once, I was unable to open the door, so I got online and had to research how to open the door to get my clothes out. It's those kinds of irritating problems that cause me to hate this washer that I paid big dollars for.

Really, I just wanted a good quality machine to use not get to know on an intimate basis. The Kenmore machine I had was not nearly as high maintenance as this washer, and I had that washing machine for years. Maybe I just got a lemon, but this machine has been a huge disappointment, and I will never purchase another Bosch. I truly don't understand the five-star ratings it receives.

I was so excited to receive my new Bosch washer and dryer, but my excitement has changed to disappointment. Even though we use the wrinkle free settings, the clothes come out of the dryer very wrinkled. Sometimes the clothes even come out of the washer too wet. We had a [Kenmore] set that I had used for over 20 years. I really miss them.

I also bought the Bosch Nexxt 800 Front Loader and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I bought it in February and had to have 5 service calls within 2 months and it is still not fixed. First the seal around the opening came off. When they fixed that I started having trouble with door being difficult to close. They replaced and the door, did not help, so they put the original door back on. One guy just sprayed silicone on it. The door will still not close without me hitting it with my hip and putting all my weight behind it. Would I recommend it - NO!! If I could afford to throw it out, would I? - YES!! Calling the repairman again today. Can't wait to see what they don't do this time.
