Arm and Hammer Essentials

I was looking for a budget friendly and eco friendly laundry detergent when I came across Arm and Hammer essentials. It was also important that the product was gentle enough to not irritate my sensitive skin. This detergent fit the criteria. This detergent is free of harmful chemicals like phosphates, dyes, bleaches and petroleum agents. The ingredients listed on the label are: coconut and palm based surfactants, Arm & Hammer baking soda, natural water softener and water. It has a soft and clean fragrance that is not overpowering. It seems to have less invasive scent than some conventional laundry detergents. It is sold in concentrated form so you don't have to use a lot of liquid to get your clothing clean. If you are concerned about packaging waste, the bottle itself is small. Arm and Hammer Essentials may be a gentle formula but it cleans just as well as conventional laundry detergent. It gets my clothes well clean and they always smell lovely. An added bonus is that I do not have to use any fabric softener with this detergent! It makes my clothing really soft. I get to save money because I do not need to purchase fabric softener. I highly recommend trying this detergent.
