We have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care washer and it's still going strong after 10 years. It’s been great for our family of five. We needed a heavy duty washer with a large basket. This one is 3 cubic feet. It does hold a lot but I try to avoid putting in more than 3 pairs of teen or adult jeans.

We had 3 teens in sports and my husband and I both exercise regularly, also, so we do a lot of wash. Just within the last year, I’ve noticed the agitator is getting loose. I noticed it was making noise. It still turns and moves the clothes sufficiently in my opinion, but I probably need to call and get it tightened. But like I said, we’ve done tons of laundry in it for 10 years, like practically every day, so I expect it might need some maintenance. Otherwise no other problems.

There is a super wash feature if you want to set it for 18 minutes, but normally I’ve used the regular wash, which gets the clothes clean. I don’t use the fabric softener dispenser, but I do use the bleach dispenser. The washer fills up quickly and has been very reliable over the years. I would recommend it.
