Whirlpool Supreme Heavy Duty/Super Capacity Model LGR7646EQ1

by Fran
(Ledgewood, NJ)

This is a great economical dryer! We have had this dryer for about 10 years with no problems. We know it's inexpensive as it came with our townhouse and we didn't upgrade that appliance when we bought the house.

I have a couple of favorite features: one is that I put my delicates and hand washables in there for a short time as the dryer has the option for that, and they really have never been ruined and it saves me some time instead of line drying them fully.Another feature I like is that there is a light inside the dryer that comes on when you open the door. I have little kids, with little socks that I wash, so I need to see every nook and cranny in there so as to not lose the little items.

This dryer has 7 cycles and 4 temperatures, along with normal drying or timed drying up to 70+ minutes if needed. The lint trap is right on top of the dryer and being there it reminds me to clean it out each time.

The dryer is relatively quiet too. I have not had experience with expensive dryers so I can't compare, but my laundry room is next to the living room, and unless I have the end of cycle signal on, I don't notice when it's done because it's quiet enough.

We do about 1-2 loads of laundry every other day or two, and the dryer has held up all this years, and we expect to use it for at least another few years. It's a great, reliable dryer!
