Whirlpool 2.4 cu ft. Heavy Duty A530XSN2

I have a Whirlpool 2.4 cu ft. Heavy Duty, washing machine. I think the model number is A5300XSN2. I bought it in 1989 when I moved in to my current manufactured home. I live in west-central Florida. I probably got it as Sears. It’s 19 years old and still runs like a charm.

I have had to replace my dryer, but my washing machine just keeps on going.

It’s a top loader and has three water level choices and many hot/cold combinations.
Although my children are grown and gone, my washing machine still gets a workout.

I play golf, shuffleboard; I have an extensive garden, and I ride my bicycle every day. Lots of hot, sweaty, dirty clothes. And it still runs like a charm.

In Florida if you live in a manufactured home like I do, most likely your washer and dryer are not in the house, but in the attached shed. Gosh, we all have them.

Anyway, I was worried when I first moved in that the humidity and heat that’s in that metal shed would affect the washer and dryer, but it has not.

I also worried that on those rare nights in January when it would get clear down to 30 degrees, that the cold would affect the washer and dryer, nut it has not.

And it still works like a charm!!!
