Toastmaster Model 3305 Steam/Dry Iron

This iron is small and mostly made of plastic. One of the biggest pros for this item is the price since it only costs about $10. This is great for people who don’t iron a lot and don’t want to spend a lot of money for the occasional ironing. The other pro is that it heats up pretty fast so there is not a lot of waiting for it before it can be used. This cuts down on the time of ironing as well because it keeps its heat well and so it can be done faster.

One problem that I have found is that it sometimes leaks water when ironing. Another problem that I sometimes encounter is that the cord does not wrap around the iron well and actually there is not place for it to wrap and making storage difficult at times. I just keep it in the box and that is a good place to keep it since the cord will not get tangled on other items.

The small size of this iron also makes it easy to store especially for people who don’t have a lot of storage space. It does a good job on clothes and even on the thicker articles like suit jackets and heavy pants. One of my favorite features of this item is the cup that is provided for inserting water since it is small and has a long neck that prevents spilling of water while trying to fill the chamber.

This iron is great for anyone who does not iron very much but needs one for the occasional job. I would rate this iron at a 3 in a scale of 1-5.
