Tide Total Care

by Debra
(Houston, Texas USA)

There’s a new type of Tide called “Tide Total Care”. I had never heard of it but I had a $1 coupon for it so I bought some at Wal-Mart. It was $6.97 for 29 loads. Usually I have four or five products to do laundry.

This one seems to cover them all. It has Downy so I didn’t have to use fabric softener separately. I usually use Woolite for delicates but I do not need it with Tide Total Care.

It is strong enough for jeans and heavier clothes. I haven’t had to use stain out products either. It has a nice smell but not too overpowering. Usually I alternate between Tide Free (no perfumes or dyes) and Tide Clean Rinse.

I have been able to wash sweaters instead of hand washing them with this detergent. I can also use it with pantyhose without it being too strong. It is my new go-to because I will be able to save money by only using Tide Total Care instead of buying several products to do laundry.

Even with sheets, it had a nice clean sheet and they did not come all wrinkled. I will buy the big bottle next time since laundry is almost a daily chore.

Love the Tide Total Care Product!
by: Anonymous

It's been great for me, and even though it's for all colors, I still turn all of my dark colors inside out just in case :) I've used a lot of tide detergents, and this along with the tide cold water are the best so far! Other than that, I have used Purex and it seems to get the stains out of my clothes easily :)

The bad part of the Tide Total Care, is that it costs a LOT of money, and if you have used it before and you like it, then you should really get it :) other than that, you can try tide cold water since it works just as well!

Of course it doesn't get the stains out of your childrens clothes like you want it to. It doesn't claim to be that type of detergent. There is a reason that tide came out with there own line of stain removing products.

This product DOES NOT clean mud stains
by: Anonymous

What is Tide doing selling such a horrible product and for such a high price. If you dress like the man in the commercials and have money to burn, I guess this is for you. But if you have real stains to get out, forget it!

Tide Total Care is HORRIBLE at cleaning
by: Anonymous

I don't really know why they have this fashion maven selling detergent... he doesn't look like his clothes get very dirty!!!
I tried this product and it barely got the mud stains out of my kids pants. I thought that with the high price of this detergent (it's almost double the cost per load vs Tide Original, which I don't like because it chews up my kids clothes), I figured it would really work on cleaning. What a dissapointment.. feel like I've been ripped off.

Tide Total Care

This Tide product is fantastic. I usually use something similar to Woolite for my winter clothes.I have washed all my winter clothes with Tide Total Care. My wools, knits, etc. came out so nice, I will not go back to another product.
It leaves clothes with renewed color, softness, and knot free.
