Not only is this Sunbeam 4215 Steam Master Iron ultra futuristic and fancy, its ergonomic design is comfortable to use. It has all of the bells and whistles a girl requires in a steam iron. A task as daunting as ironing requires at least a little Jetson’s-type fun. This looks and feels like something Rosie would use!
It gets the job done quickly and easily, and the steam setting presses and creases like a dream. Well worth the price if you can find it on sale or use a coupon, and the gadget will make its money back with the clothes you save and keep looking good. It is lightweight, but does the job as if it weighs twenty pounds.
The retractable cord comes in handy for storage, but I understand some people are not really used to it and prefer a cord to be wound around the iron. Either way works just as well, but I like for the feature to be there in case a user does decide it is best. The internal water tank holds enough for a full load of ironing to be steamed perfectly. Having an automatic shut off feature will save plenty of irons and likely homes from near disaster.
I was worried at first as my last steam iron just had a trickle of water instead of a jet of steam, but this one is perfect. For a girl who only irons because the military tells the man of the house his uniforms have to be pressed, this is the iron to get. Usually, I try to pass it off on someone else to do, but with money being tight this Sunbeam is the best investment for our clothes that I could have made.
It seems like it will last a long time and not need to be repaired or replaced for a good, long while.
