save bras; use mesh bag

If you want to put bras in the laundry but save them some wear and tear, just put them in a zippable mesh bag. This will prevent you from having to wash them by hand.

bra wash
by: Wanda

My daughter and I both wear underwire bras. We kept getting poked by the underwire because after a few washings, even in the mesh bag, the underwire would get mangled tear the bra. Now, whenever I plan to do 2 loads of laundry I first put the bras in and fill up the machine with soapy water. Before the agitator starts, I get the soapy bras out and put them in a dishpan. After I wash and take out the 1st load of clothes, I put the soapy bras back in and spin them for just a few seconds and again let the washer fill up, with just water. Then I get the rinsed bras out to the dishpan and put in soap with the second load. After I take out the second load, I put the rinsed bras back in and spin for a few seconds, then hang to dry. It really doesn't take much effort and saves on bra replacement.

I agree. I have used a bra and unmentionables bag. It truly does save them from getting tangled.
