Whenever I travel, I take a couple safety pins with me and use them to mark items that have stains. This makes it easier to pick out which pieces of clothing need to be treated whenever I get home.
This is a wonderful idea. I usually have to sort all my clothes tediously. Another thing I use safety pins for is pinning my socks together so I never have to search for the match.

I hate having to sort through the clothes and try to remember what articles of clothing were stained or what someone else in my family stained! I have found that this works great while traveling and makes it much easier to sort upon return, but I have also found that at home if I have my family tie the article of clothing into a knot so that I know it is stained and needs to be treated, I have a much easier time with the laundry. Another trick while traveling for laundry, use the plastic laundry bags provided by the hotel to sort your laundry before you even return home, making it even easier!

That is a great idea! It's usually such a pain to figure out which clothes need to be washed or treated when you get home after a trip, but this simplifies things by so much! I absoulutly agree to this!
