Roper 7 Cycle Washing Machine

Me and my husband bought this Roper 7 cycle washing machine when we moved into a new apartment. It was a good choice at the time because it was a decent price and pretty small. It does an average job of removing stains (for any moderate stains, you still have to Spray and Wash!) and washes a load pretty quickly.

I like the variety of options that the washer offers; it has various cycles for light, regular, heavy, extra wash and all those ones that you never use.
The physical size has been good for our last apartment and our new home and has fit nicely in both of our laundry rooms with the matching dryer. It is fairly light so if you move around a lot, it is no problem getting in place with two people or a dolly.

Because it is not an oversized washer, the capacity has become a problem as our family has grown. The basket only holds about 8 pairs of jeans and when we upgraded our bed to a queen we had to clean our comforter elsewhere (it will fit a full with no problems). The sales person did warn me that this was a good choice for a single person.

As far as durability, we?ve had the washer for several years now and despite some of the size issues it is a great washer and has given us no problems. We now have a small child and the finished metal seems to stand up to the abuses of little feet and banging toys. Even through a couple dolly trips and moves, the washer looks as good as the day we bought it.

Most washers have a tendency to take longer over time to wash or have issues coming unbalanced easily, which we haven?t experienced at all with this one. The unit is pretty self maintaining and doesn?t require any real cleaning or care. I would definitely recommend it for people looking for an affordable washer in apartments or for single people living on their own. There is a matching dryer for this model, built to the same durability and we?ve had both for years with no issues.
