Roper 3.2 Cu. ft. washing machine
Roper 3.2 Cu. ft. washing machine I purchased the Roper 3.2 cu. ft. washing machine in a dire emergency. I was told by the girl at the store that although it was "affordable" that it had a good reliability record, so I went ahead and purchased it.
I've heard horror stories before about people buying very expensive washing machines and having problems in just a few months and pretty much assumed I was headed the same direction. However this was not the case.
Not only did the washer come with several different speeds and wash cycles, it holds a lot more than I thought it would! I can actually wash a Queen size comforter in it with no problems. At first it gave off a funny smell, but I later realized that was the new parts wearing in and it eventually stopped.
I also like the fact that it is very quiet. Sometimes you don't even know it's washing if you're not close to it! The only thing that worries me is every once in a while, I'll wash clothes and it will somehow become unbalanced and cause a lot of racket, but a quick check inside the washer can help me balance it back out, and the noise is gone. Another downside is the fact that it isn't really "energy efficient" but I only wash full loads, so it's not that expensive for me.
Overall, I would have to say the washer gets a 4 out of 5, because every once in a while, it's not perfect, but it's much better than I expected.
