Recycling of used detergent!

by mahipal singh rawat

Genrally we throw away the detergentmixed water which is has been used ones. The same water can be utilised for heavily soiled clothes since the detergent action of this water remain in it even after one use of it.It not only saves water but the detergent powder as well.

This makes me very nervous. I have little kids who have accidents. I would never use the water again to clean my close that was used to rinse out pee from theirs. How could close really get clean?

Dirty Bath
by: Anonymous

I have 2 boys and the reason i wash their clothes is to get the germs and dirt out of their clothes. I would never take that dirty water and give them a bath in it, so i can say i would never make them wear the clothes that came out of it.

CRAZY
by: Rodney

I think that the ideal of recycling you used water is awful. I think that its unhealthy since you wash your clothes. Think about it is your clothes clean when you was them? NO they are dirty thats the main reason why we wash them. So I would not recomend no one to reuse their washing water. NASTY !

How would this even work?
by: Anonymous

I'm assuming you're using a washing machine. Therefore, I don't understand this suggestions. While it sounds great on the surface (being all for water conservation, particularly here in Florida), I don't understand how I would capture the used water draining from my washing machine into my well to even be able to use it. Perhaps you could state your case a little more clearly and explain the logistics on how this would work, exactly.

Pollution
by: Aaron Ellgers

One of the largest sources of water pollution in today's society is via detergents. I was an engineer at GE and we were working on detergent alternatives but they are all too expensive for public consumption.

Please restate
by: Anonymous

This suggestion doesn't make sense. Please restate it with proper English. No disrespect intended. But we can't agree or disagree with something that isn't clear.
