Peroxide is great for blood stains

I use peroxide to get out blood stains. Just poor a peroxide on the stain until the peroxide quits bubbling. Then rinse the garment in cold water. If there is still a stain put more peroxide on the fabric. Caution peroxide can bleach some fabrics so be sure to test the fabric first.

I did not know about the peroxide. I am a hairdresser and all I know is that the peroxide would stain my clothes. I will have to try this with my clothes. I also found antibacterial soap works. My son cut his foot open and when he came in I scrubbed his sock with the antibacterial soap(that was all that I had handy at the time) and his sock came clean.

This really works. Peroxide really does take out blood stains on clothing. Just soak in peroxide for a few hours then wash as usual.

When I was working as EMT at a hospital all we used was hydrogen peroxide to get all blood stains. It works like a charm.

The peroxide method DOES work well for blood stains. I was amazed the first time a friend told me to try it, it worked perfectly.

This really does work wonders!!! You do have to be careful using it on colors as it will bleach some. However it works wonders on whites!! It does work best if you put the peroxide on it imediately it will take more time if you wait but still works!!! This is one of the best tips I ever received!!!

yes folks this really does work. when i was reading over the stain removal tips i realized my son had busted his knee open when he fell earlier today and i thought i would have to throw away his new shorts because of a blood stain. well when i came accross this article i went and found my peroxide and tried it. it lifted the stain right out of the shorts so from now on the bottle of peroxide will be by the washer.
