OxyClean

Always pre-treat. Sometimes these usightly spills can go unnoticed. I always try to put one scoop of OxyClean in the wash. Also, nothing makes whites whiter as well as Cascade Dishwasher detergent. But beware, this is a bleaching tool and should be used only on whites.

My dog had a disgusting accident on my white carpet - I was horrified and didn't have much hope of getting the stain out. First I tried Resolve (carpet cleaner) but that didn't work. Then, I tried a very heavy concentration of OxyClean & let it sit for 15 minutes and it totally worked! No one will ever know that there was a mess in that spot - I'm delighted that the product actually does what it says. I too was apprehensive about the claims since it was an infomercial product, but bought it anyway to give it a try. Now I'm going to be a loyalist of this product. OxyClean totally rocks!

There isn't much that soaking in OxyClean doesn't fix. With young kids, it is a life saver.

I use OxyClean in every load of laundry I do, I especially like the way it works on dark clothes to help keep the colors like new. I find it to be a fantastic carpet stain remover. We have a cat with a delicate stomach and vomited food stains are often very difficult to deal with. With OxyClean, I pick, or soak up the mess and blot the area as dry as possible; then with a stiff brush I scrub OxyClean solution into the stained area, let it set a few minutes and then blot dry. I rarely need to, but this method can be repeated as often as needed to remove the stain.

OxyClean works great on most stains! I even use it for carpet stains. However, I found that a little lemon juice and time in the sun is the best thing for rust stains. Be careful with colors because lemon juice can bleach fabrics.

soak whites that have gotten koolaid stains on them in oxyclean for about 15 min and then wash no more stain.

I love oxyclean! I was really skeptical at first, mainly because it had been on an infomercial and none of that stuff ever seems to work, but there is a definate and positive difference in all my laundry. My only suggestion is that you always open/scoop/pour the powder well away from your face and nose, cause if you breathe it in, it seems to be really irritating to the lungs.
