Maytag MET3800TW washer and dryer

I moved in behind my parents house in a small apartment they own. It basically has no space for anything, and I had no space for a side by side washer or dryer.
I decided to purchase the stacked washer and dryer because I knew it would fit, and it would eliminate me dragging clothes across town and sitting for three to four hours. I didn't know how I would feel about having a dryer stacked on the washer, but it is actually more convenient. You can pull your clothes right out of the dryer into a basket and take them somewhere else to fold. It's great.
The dryer also does not get in your way of washing clothes. It's just as easy to put clothes in with the dryer on top. It doesn't hold loads as large as other washer and dryers because it is space saving, so you have to do multiple loads. If you do not have it balanced right, it will make noise. Balance for this machine is also important.
We didn't have mine balanced correctly the first time. The dryer is somewhat small. You can not dry large loads of clothes, and it doesn't dry the fasted. It's not terrible, but it doesn't have a high enough temperature to dry clothes of a large quantity at a fast time. You can only dry four to five pairs of pants at one time. It takes a long time for blue jeans. Basically, I have to set the timer twice.
The washer holds about five pairs of pants also. It doesn't hold much. It doesn't have the efficiency of the larger washer and dryers because of it's small size, but that is why it is a space saver stacked washer and dryer. I would like it to be a little larger with more better washing and drying times.
Also, I wished it offered more options for delicate clothes. Overall, it is a good washer and dryer that saves a lot of space. It's a little pricey for what you get as for a working ability, but your paying for space saving.
