This LG Steam Dryer was an excellent choice for our home. While there are only two of us, my clothes are extra large (and I don't mean just XL). This dryer has more than enough capacity for all of our clothes.

We haven't used the steam dry function more than a handful of times, but it was great to use on some new napkins that we just wanted the wrinkles out of before we set them out.

Our clothes have always come out feeling dry and fresh, without seeming too beat up. The front load is easy to use, although for out set up up, it is somewhat backwards. The dryer door can be reversed, but our washer door can't (we have the companion LG Washer as well).

In the past, we have always had gas dryers, unfortunately our new house didn't have gas, so we had to buy electric, but this dryer hasn't let us down. The drying times have been very close to the cycle time on the washer so we aren't waiting around to move clothes over.

Our ownership time is only about 6 months, but we haven't had any problems *knock on wood* and we know several other people with LG products that haven't had any problems at all. While one of the flashy colors would have been nice, our washer and dryer are tucked away in the back room and we are the only ones who have to look at them.

With that said, the white models are still very elegant in their appearance and we aren't ashamed to let house guests use them. I highly recommend this model to anyone in the market for a high quality front-load dryer.
