LG All in One Washer Dryer WM3431HS

I own a LG All in One Washer and Dryer Combo. The model number is WM3431HS. I bought this washer and dryer combo directly off the LG website. I paid $1500 for the washer and dryer combo. It was great because LG shipped the combo for free. I have a lot of stainless steel and titanium appliances in my home, and when I saw this washer and dryer combo, I fell in love.

Like any other washer and dryer, this combo has different settings for different fabrics. However, this washer automatically adjusts the water if it is not correct. Also, the dryer is able to control the moisture and temperature so that your clothes are not ruined.

This is a great feature for me because I am not good at doing laundry. I always end up putting it on the wrong setting. The best feature of this combo is the choice of “Dry only”, “Wash only”, and “Wash to dry”. I love the Wash to dry setting because I hate having to transfer clothes from one machine to another just to dry them. With the wash to dry option, you will definitely make less trips to the laundry room, therefore it cuts down on a little of the manual labor.

I also love the fact that this is a front load washer. This combo is energy efficient, and that was a big plus for me. There is also a feature on this machine in which you can delay the wash cycle, but I have never used that feature. I’m not really sure why you would want to do that, but the option is there. I also like the fact that the combo has a see through portion so you can actually see your clothes while they are going through the cycles.

It definitely makes me think of my childhood when I used to go to the Laundromat. I would definitely recommend this washer/dryer combo to anyone!

- Drying of clothes will leave wrinkles The LG WM3431HS I have to say that for the most part this machine is pretty good. For a washer/dryer all in one, you’re not going to find anything better.

The fact that you don’t need any actual washer or dryer hookups for this to work makes this one of the best washer/dryers to have if you live in an apartment.

You don’t need any venting for the dryer part and you don’t need any special water hookups for the washer part. What’s also great is that this machine doesn’t have one of the special plugs that washers and dryers have.

This is just your regular 3 prong plug that will fit anywhere. Just plug it in and you’re ready to go. I really do have to say that I like this machine. Although, there are problems with it. Like most things, this isn’t perfect.

Some things that are a problem is the fact that it feels like it takes forever to do a load of laundry. When I mean a load, I’m talking about a full wash and dry. It can take around 4 hours and because it’s just one machine, you can’t really keep any momentum going. You have to put it in and then come back later.

The way that it dries your clothes is also weird because it doesn’t dry it with air, which is why you don’t need the vents, but what it is it dries your clothes the same way that a dish washer dries dishes. Sure, your clothes will come out dry, but they’ll also look like they’ve been in a sauna. It’ll be all wrinkly, but nothing an iron can take of.

It is and user-friendly and eco-friendly. This LG washer dryer combo is perfect for people like me who don't have an external venting source which conventional dryers require. But it does not mean that this is not fit for apartments and vacation homes where there may be space constraints, it’s also a good solution for them too.

It does take a bit longer to finish a load, but my time is greatly reduced, as I never remembered to put wash to the dryer until hours after it was finished washing and also this Delay Start feature allows convenient completion of laundry to fit my schedule. I always put laundry in at night and next morning it gives me cleaner than it's ever been, without wrinkling, completely dried (even jeans).

I can surely put in heavily soiled clothing without pre-treating with the great confidence that they all will come out completely clean. It is super convenient and gentle on clothes. It Uses less water, and soap so saves energy and money both.

It has lots of settings. We can choose the water temperature, whether or not we want it to spin and at what speed, the drying temperature or if we want it to dry at all.

I only have one minor issue so far with this that when the clothes dry, they get extremely hot so you let the clothes cool down for a good few minutes before folding up.
