Laundry Detergent Review

We will review what we have found to be the best laundry detergents.

The four detergents we recommend are tide, wisk, gain and SA8 detergent. Which one is the best? We found tide to be the best laundry detergent on the market. See our special

Everybody at some point in their life does laundry. Children learn from a young age to sort the whites from the colors, to never wash anything red with the whites, and the delicate cycle works the best with, well, delicate fabrics. But how do you know which laundry detergent to use? What if what your mother used when you were a kid is no longer available now that you’re an adult? Let us help you make a choice.

If you are looking for tide we have our tide review here.

Let us have a look at the other three outstanding detergents.

First, we have Wisk detergent. While not the most expensive product on the market, Wisk asks its users to “go ahead and get dirty”. It has ‘stain dissolving power’ and comes in a version with a fresh scent as well as one that is supposed to help prevent rashes and other allergic side effects.

It is a Unilever product, the company that also makes All detergent and Snuggle fabric softener. Downfall of this product? You need more than a capful for a large load of laundry and there are more products available that work just as well with a whole heck of a lot less in your washer.

SA8 detergent is one of those little gems you find available from an independent seller, which may very well be far and few between. It has been recommended for use by consumers who have allergic reactions to other commercial laundry detergents and scores very high in the consumer review report. One nine-pound box can do 150 loads of laundry.

Biodegradable, SA8 comes with an enzyme cleaner that completely eliminates the most common of stains, namely grass, chocolate and blood. It’s also certified as kosher. The regular version of SA8 is no longer available. Instead, consumers can buy SA8 with BioQuest. SA8 comes with a 100% money back guarantee.

Last but not lease is Gain detergent. Gain is available at all major retail stores, from your favorite local grocery store to Wal-Mart. An inexpensive detergent, most consumers can get more loads than touted out of each bottle or box of Gain. It has a great fresh scent, but guess what?

Gain does not offer a version that is free of allergens. As a matter of fact, Gain has been listed as one of the most allergic laundry detergents out there. This is not a product for anyone with very sensitive skin. This detergent also seems lacking in handling tough stains.

If you like the scent variety it offers and you don’t seem allergic to anything with high perfume concentrates, Gain might be a good choice for you. You may want to use it in conjunction with a stain remover, such as Clorox and Clorox 2, to handle those tough stains it can’t handle on its own.

You can choose from liquid to powder to concentrate and just about anything in between. Everyone has their favorite. Don’t be afraid to try a few to find yours.
