Kirkland Signature by Whirlpool

A week before my wedding, three days before friends and family were to arrive from out of town, my washing machine broke down. I had friends who were going to stay with me for an extended time, and there was no way I could live without a washing machine for that long.

I sent my fiancee (now husband)out with clear instructions: Buy the cheapest washing machine you can find. We were broke from paying for the wedding. I figured we would get something that would last temporarily and buy something better later on. So he went to Costco and got a Kirkland Signature by Whirlpool for $350.

Five and a half years later, the machine is still running with no problems. I now have two children, so I do an average of two loads per day, seven days a week. The clothes are clean, they don't get tangled in the machine, and we haven't had any problems at all.

The only thing that I wish was different is the load size. This machine has two size settings...small and extra large. Sometimes it would be nice to have a third setting somewhere in the middle.

Overall, this has been a great purchase. It's not fancy, but if you're looking for useful and a good value for the money, this washing machine is perfect!
