kids driving up laundry prices?

by Tamara
(Bedford, TX)

Kids generate tons of laundry, especially in the mobile mess making stage (also called toddler hood).

My best method was to combine kid diapers and highly messy clothes with towels (since they always need to be washed) and my husbands' grimy work clothes.

That way, all the heavy duty wash was in one load, instead of multiple loads. That saved water and electricity and time.

Save Time and Money

I agree with this tip. With a family of five and at least one-two loads a day, I also combine clothes that otherwise would not be. The end result is time and money saved. I 'd rather do one load a day then three. Those loads surely add up!
