I bought my washer from Sears in December of 2003. It is the very first new washing machine that I have ever purchased. I chose this washer because it was cost effective, simple and a Kenmore.

I have always favored Kenmore appliances, because they are usually made by top manufactures, such as Maytag, just without the fancy name. I did not need anything extravagant, just something that would get the job done.

This washer does not have any digital features; this one uses old fashioned dials to use for selecting different cycles and load sizes.

Well over the past 4.5 years this machine has served my family well. It did come with a 1 year warranty, which I never did use or need; the porcelain basket comes with a much longer warranty (I believe 10 year).

Clothes always come out clean and well rinsed and the machine is quiet too.

It has several different cycles that you can choose from along with a bleach and softener dispenser, which I find very handy. For someone like me, the added cleaning instructions on the lid are also very useful.

I highly recommend this Kenmore branded machine, for those looking for a reliable, quiet, and time proven machine.

Further, I would also recommend my machine for those who are looking for a simple machine looking to get the job done.
