Kenmore 300 Series Model

Hello! I have owned my Kenmore 300 Series Model washing machine for over five years.

It has never let me down yet.

My Kenmore 300 washer is easy to use, it has two basic knobs, one on the left for small load or large load, just click and you have it.

The big knob on the right gives you options for load size, duration and water temperature.

Often, my husband forgets himself and loads the washing machine to the hilt. The clothes still come out clean, the water is evenly distributed, it doesn't "walk" like some overloaded washers do and best of all, it doesn't throw the agitator out of align. This keeps peace in our house.

Another feature I like is that unlike some washing machines, the Kenmore 300 doesn't have unnecessary outside nooks and crannies in it's design. Some of these may look sweet, but they are tough to wipe down and keep clean. A few sweeps of a wash cloth and it is as clean as a whistle and looking fine!

Lastely, all Sears Kenmore washing machines can be repaired from any Sears store repair department. They have parts and accessories at their fingertips so you don't have to wait a long time to get your washing machine up and running.

If you don't care to go to Sears to have your washing machine repaired, you can go to any washer repair company and because the Sears parts are so easy to obtain, you are in business!

I love my Kenmore 300 washing machine. If and when my "working friend" does break for good, I will probably buy the same brand and make again.

Lacking
by: Lyn

I have owned this washer for one year. Although noisy, it works well. My only complaint is really my own failure to make sure it had multiple speeds. It has a Heavy Duty cycle and a Permanent Press cycle, but they both agitate with the same speed/force. The Permanent Press is no gentler on your clothes than the Heavy Duty, and there is no Delicate cycle. Again, my fault for not checking it out throughly so keep that in mind before you buy this one.

Good quality and a reasonable price
by: Rebecca

I have a Kenmore 300 Series washer. The model number is 110.273226600. I bought this washing machine at Sears about five years ago. It was very reasonably priced. In fact, it was the lowest priced large capacity washer in the any of the stores that we went to.

If I remember correctly, I paid about three hundred to three hundred and fifty dollars for it. That is not a bad price for a good quality washing machine. I love this washer. I have never had a problem with it, and that is saying something. the washing machine I had prior to buying this one was a Whirlpool. I do not remember the model.

I do know that I only had it for approximately two years before it died on me. I have 3 children, and we do a lot of laundry. I run the washer and dryer almost constantly. This one has never acted up on me in the least. Occasionally it will become unbalanced {which is my fault for over loading it}, but if you just rearrange a bit in the tub, it will straiten right out. I have only had this happen a few times in the five years plus I have owned the washing machine.

This machine is not one of the new super huge capacity washers, but I have still been able to wash my king size comforter in it on occasion with no problem at all.

The washing machine also fit perfectly in our laundry closet. If you have limited space, and need a large capacity washer, this is a good choice. It measures 27 inches across by 26 inches deep and is about 46 inches tall {including the controls}

Even though this washer was inexpensive, it still gives you options. Many of the less expensive washers I have seen offer only one water level and maybe two wash settings. This washer has two settings for water level. One for small loads and one for super loads. You can set it to use cold, warm, or hot water.

There are also settings for heavily soiled loads, permanent press, normal, as well as a gentle cycles. I would highly recommend this washer. It is reasonably priced, large capacity, durable, and of good quality. What more could you ask for?

Reliable without the bells and whistles
by: Anonymous

I purchased the Kenmore 300 series approximately 1 year ago. I have had other washers from different manufactures over the years and often bought into the hype of advertisements and things are not always the way they are advertised.

I had bought a dishwasher from Kenmore the previous year and the service was great, so i began researching washer. I had just got laid off from my job so money was a big factor.

I decided on on this series because it did not have of the extra bells and whistle, but it really reliable. i wash about 150 loads per month and it has really been able to handle it.

Sears also offers and extended warranty which is great, you get sales and service all from one location.
