We all use dryers in this day and age. However too save you money and us energy hang your clothes outside to dry. Its fast if it is hot out. And they smell so much more fresh. We take advantage of the technology and appliances today. We should try to live in the past sometimes.

Sometimes when you line-dry, your clothes are a little stiff. You can use the air dry feature on your dryer for 10 minutes - you've still saved lots of energy and you'll have clothes that are easily foldable.

I totally agree with that, it only takes a little work to hang clothes instead. And your clothes will dry for free!!

Even if you live in an apartment, you can usually find room on the deck to string a small clothes line! Not only do you save on the electric bill, nothing beats the smell of fresh clothes dries in the sun.

I find it is very easy to cut your eco foot print if you just line dry! Although you aren't cutting down on your water use you do greatly cut down your electrical uses! And your clothing has the smell of sunshine!

Why not try drying your clothes the old fashioned way, on a clothesline? Not only will you save on electricity by drying your clothes in the sun, but you will notice that your whites will be whiter. The sun works to brighten dingy whites.
