Ink on your clothes

by Terry Muncy
(Moore, OK)

If you work at a desk like I do, somethings you get ink from your pen on your clothes. Always keep some hairspray around for this. Spray the stain and work away the ink spot. When you get home, you will want to toss it in the washing machine to complete the job.

works nearly everytime.

I too have used the hairspray trick and it always works. I have used it on many different fabrics of clothes as well and I have never had a problem.

This works everytime for me
by: purplelaurii

I have had this problem and the hairspray does work. You need to spray the article of clothing as soon as possible and get it in the wash machine as soon as possible but I have had big success with this trick.

Ink on your clothes

Well, actually I almost everyday encountered that problem, but still I always come up to unsolved that one, until I discover a way, its like to put a Zonrox on the stained part and a hot water then i soked it for a minute, then almost 90% of the stained removed. Have you used this method before?

does not work all the time
by: Anonymous

I have tried using harispray a few time and it works for the most part. For heavy ink stains it does not work. I tried on a staing from a pen left in my shirt pocket that sat overnight. I tried to use two different kinds of harispray and it did not work. For other light ink stains hair spray worked great if used immediately.

Fantastic Tip
by: jessleedes

This is a fantastic tip that I have been using for years. I don't know why it works, but hairspray really does work on ink stains. I have also used in in car upholstery, and though it requires a little more elbow grease than clothing, it works there too.
