hydrogen peroxide and cool water will remove blood stains. Pull the fabric tight and let the peroxide flow freely through the fabric followed by cool water in the same manner.
I always knew cold water soaks would get out blood if you do it immediately. Peroxide makes sense though. Good tip.

Works for me! by: Michelle
I've been using this trick for a while. If I have a really stubborn blood stain, I'll let the hydrogen peroxide soak for a while, then I'll scrub the stain with an old toothbrush. Works a charm, and I've never had to throw any clothing away because of it!

I find that hydrogen peroxide poured on while holding the fabric under cold water is the best method, both of these are pretty much the same and will work almost always.

Cold water by: Charlotte
I find that cold water works best on bloodstains, though I have had success with hydrogen peroxide on stubborn or dried stains.

hydrogen peroxide the best by: Anonymous
The bests and worsts I have tried The best stain remover I have come accross is......believe it or not hydrogen peroxide. When I was working in a cubical I kept 2 bottles in my desk at all times. You name it blood, pen marks ext... it got it out. I have not tried it on colored clothes though.
I don't remember who told me or where i picked it up but it does work. Also what does not work is the dryer balls ... I will try them again because i spent $10 on them but the last 3 times I used them they did not work. Another thing great for stains only on white clothes is the clorox bleach pen---Oh My Gooddness it's the best thing ever. Also I tired Oxy Clean and it works sorta but it takes allot of work you have to soak the item dab it ....it's a process I like to spray, pour or drip on and throw in the machine.
