Husband's Laundry

by Bamby

Use vinegar, baking soda and or lemon juice! My husband taught me these tricks, your clothes smell and look real clean and white's are brighter! This is a great thing to do when your family doesn't like heavy perfume smell's.

Vinegar is awesome!!

I am definitely going to try the laundry tip. I also use 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water to clean every day instead of those chemicals that you buy at the store. we just put it in a spray bottle and use as needed.

And save money, too

I totally agree. I tried vinegar in the rinse cycle to eliminate static cling (instead of using dryer sheets) and found it better than liquid fabric softener or dryer sheets at eliminating static cling; the bonus was that the clothes smelled good, too. However, I have no 100% polyster clothers, so don't know if this method would work for them

Smelly PTS

My husband is in the Army and after a morning of PT those uniforms get pretty rank. I have washed and washed but you can never get that sweaty, dirty smell completely out of the arm pit area.
After reading this I tried it and although it didn't work completely it did work better then all of the other things I have tried.
