This is the WORST maching ever! It always goes off balance, it's noisy and the motor is completely burned out and it's only 3 years old. Yesterday it started smoking, and luckily we were home to unplug it because it would've burned the house down.
We had to call the fire department! A few months ago, when we had it serviced, we were told that it's not really a Maytag design, but a Norge. Apparently Maytag bought Norge and started selling their designs under the Maytag label.
We thought we were buying a quality machine based on the Maytag label, but we were fooled. We bought it at Sears, and I will never buy there again.
