grease on refridgerator

by Lori
(Manitowoc)

When a buildup of grease is on the side of the refrigerator I make a paste of Baking soda and water and use a soft cloth to scrub it off. It does not hurt the refridgerator at all and the baking soda gets into the textured material and removes the grease

Looks like a great idea!

We may try this with our fridge. My wife used the same type of method to clean our sink and it worked well! Before, I was only able to get the kitchen sink clean with bleach, but using the baking soda paste worked like a charm and is a bit less toxic.

I've used this and it works great! It also works in the laundry as a booster - especially good on whites!

Cheap and Easy

This is definitely the easiest and best way to do your cleaning. You don't need tons of new cleaning products in order to clean different kinds of stains. This is gentle enough for my stainless steel refrigerator, but if you're not familiar with the technique make sure to try it out somewhere unnoticable at first (just in case).

This works! I have used this method before to remove tough stains from refrigerators or similar appliances. It's not as harsh as so many store-bought chemicals, and its a good value, too!
