Go Gray Water

I divert the water from my washing machine and water a part of my garden with it. Before I wash I detach the hose and connect it to a garden hose and it's as easy as that! Great way to spare my septic tank the additional water AND I save water by not running the hose in the midst of our drought in CA.

I agree my mother use to do the same thing years ago. I had actually forgot this method of conserving water.
