We bought our GE washer when we moved into our new house about two years ago. It's your basic top load washer, but it has a lot of great options for wash cycles. It's been very dependable and we haven't really had any problems with it.

Although I would love to have a front load washer, this is a good alternative when you can't quite afford the front loader!

It will handle a good size load and is pretty quick. My favorite feature, though, is the easy cycle selection. With kids, I do a lot of laundry on a semi-daily basis and usually use the same cycle for each load.

With this washer, when you select the cycle, it stays on that cycle until you change it, so all you have to do to start another load is press the start button.

Seems like a small detail, but it's awesome when you're doing five loads in a row! And, while it's not as quiet as the front loaders, it's still pretty quiet for a top loader.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this washer. It has been a good investment for us over the last two years. I would recommend it to others looking for a good, affordable top loading washer!
