GE WHDSR315DAWW

by Melissa E
(Warm Beach, WA)

Our GE washer was purchased in 2006 from our local Sears Store, so we've had it about 2 1/2 years. We were looking for a Kenmore because that brand has always proved to be good value for the price. Once we got into the store, the GE was a better price with all the features we were looking for. Our main objective, after the obvious clean clothes, was a very large capacity.

We did our homework on that! We have 3 sports-minded teenagers, so we do a lot of laundry! The capacity on this model is really big! It has withstood our kids over filling it from time to time and cleans everything very well. This washer has been very reliable and seems to be holding up to the numerous loads per week. In addition, it is big enough for the comforters & pillows from time to time!

I think it is economical - especially when you run most loads on the lightest wash setting. The clothes still get clean and you use the least amount of energy. This washing machine also has a great feature for adding softeners or fragrance to the rinse cycle. I love this feature because I add what I want at the time I start the load and I come back to clean, fresh clothes. I also use the soaking feature, which is handy for the obvious reason!

The only down side of this washer is the cold rinse. There is no other option on this model. Most of the time that is just what I want, but there are times (like when sanitizing bathroom rugs) I would like to have the option to choose a hot rinse. But since that is the only thing it lacks, I am well pleased!
